LaminateButler- 5 ***** Review

Laminate Butler - and organising cerec or implant components in dental.

Procedures that require multiple components for procedures such as implant placement or multiple veneers, crown and bridge, one of the challenges is to keep all components in the correct order and know which is which for chair side delivery.

The LaminateButler gives the dentist the option for the first time to lay out restorative components in order on a sterile autoclavable silicone palette that can be prepared, loaded and sterilised if required, prior to the patients appointment.

The LaminateButler and contents can also be protected by the autoclavable polymer lid to prevent contamination by aerosol effect.

Veneers, Crowns, Bridges

The LaminateButler will allow the dental assistant to keep all the components organised during bonding procedures on a sterile pallate.

With the arch towards the dentist this reflects the shape of the upper arch - the individual annotated elliptical concavities relate to the arch of the teeth, to increase confidence in placement of the right restoration on the right tooth.

Dental Implants

Multiple components of screws, abutments and crowns have to be kept in order when preparing for delivery to the patient.

The LaminateButler will allow the dentist to organise all the sterilised components returned from the lab ( pre-sterilise if required ) and present them to the dentist chairside and keep the screws sulcus formers abutments and crowns in order

In sterile green surgical field this provides a simple sterile way to improve efficiency and organisation.

Stain and Glaze Pallet

With the ideal black contrast of the LaminateButler you can lay out your chosen shades and glaze in the smooth walled concavities. The concavities are large enough to allow a gradient of concentration of the intensity of the chosen colour to provide varied intensities within the one concavity.

Mixing pad

The smooth surface reverse side of the LaminateButler can be used as a mixing pad for many dental materials .

I have been a happy customer for over a year. I had seen Steriliu´s products for some time before i decided to buy them, and Now I aknowledge i had definitely underestimated them. I am truly amazed at how amazingly efficient simplicity can be. I can tell that this choice of materials, textures, weights and comfort come from someone that understands the needs of dentists (or is one) and the needs of patients. By buying these products, dentists could spend a little bit more than the usual alternatives, but make no mistake, the value of LaminateButler . I could not recommend them more. Thank you!

I received was the Laminate butler which I actually received 2 and I am very glad that I did. It is essentially a silicone mat with a depression corresponding to each tooth in the arch so that you can arrange each indirect restoration neatly for the cementation or bonding process. It even has space in the centre for extra components such as screws for implants or positioning jigs. I had tried to create my own version of this out of dental putty but its wasteful to make a new one for every large case and It never stays intact for long especially with repeated cleaning. At least the laminate butler can be thrown in the autoclave which I can not say the same for my PVS putty.
The other use for it is as a palate for holding tints and stains during in house ceramic work. As someone who shares a lab with several other dentists I get annoyed when the fresh tint that I put out in the morning has been contaminated or all used up. With this I can mix my tints for my emax crowns and then take it back into my room and away from glaze snatchers.
I used the laminate butler for both its applications and even let others in the practice borrow it to keep their larger cases in a neat order and it worked out well for them as well. My one and only problem with it is the numbering system for dental notation. It uses the “universal” numbering system which unlike its name suggests is only used in America. In Australia and the rest of the world we use the FDI notation system so it annoyed me that I had to put tooth 11 (the upper right central incisor) into a space that was labeled 8 but apparently this problem requires a new $10,000 custom die to be created and the market isn’t yet in a position to make that feasible. I would consider purchasing another one if it was done with FDI notation.
